Obituary of Jela Lang

Jela Lang of Honesdale passed on to be with the Lord Friday, June 30, 2017 following an illness. She was married to the late Stefan Lang. Jela was born in Yugoslavia the daughter of the late Peter and Matija Markonjic Andelic. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Jela liked to travel and see family around the country. She was a member and active attendee at the New Hope Church in Beach Lake and loved reading the Bible. She enjoyed walking around central park and theWayne Highlands school track. Jela is survived by a son, Jack Lang and his wife Lily of NYC; two daughters, Elizabeth Matkovic of Beach Lake, Victoria McConnell and her husband Donald of Beach Lake; a sister, Neda Frjancic of Yugoslavia; five grandchildren, Lisa, Michael, Daniel, Dana, Andrew, and Danielle; five great Grandchildren, Mia, Amanda, Sophia, Jayden, Antonio. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, 1228 Main Street, Honesdale, Pa. Friends may visit the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00 until 2:00. Interment will be at the Beach Lake Cemetery.
