Jela and her husband Stefan were very special friends to my wife Jean and I. They were regular attendants at the Full Gospel Businessmen chapter banquets we had for many years, where Stefan was one of our most active members. They also attended our church in Hawley.
Many times we enjoyed fellowship together at their house at Bavarian Village where Jela was famous for her grand meals she gave to her guests. "Eat, you must eat," she would say, as we tried to politely turn down thirds or fourths...
She was very close to her Lord Jesus Christ. Her faith was strong.She was filled with love and gratitude. It was her heart's cry that her whole family would know the same joy she came to find in following her Lord.
Sometimes we would meet up withe her at central park and enjoy a nice walk together.
We have many fond memories of both Jela and Stefan. We know they are with the Lord and also are celebrating seeing each other once more, in Heaven.
Our prayers are with all her loved ones. We will miss her very much and look forward to seeing her once more!
