Stanley E. Rolston, 68, of Beach Lake passed away Saturday, December 21, 2024 at his home surrounded by family. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Karen (Budd) Rolston, they were married September 10, 1977.
Born January 17, 1956 in Callicoon, NY he was a son of the late Emory and Mildred (Lassley) Rolston. He attended the one room school in Milanville and graduated from the Damascus High School. He attended the Wayne County Commercial School for one year. Stanley was employed at Narrowsburg Lumber, ChromaTube, Baileys, Forest Lake and for the last 20 years was self employed as a handyman.
He enjoyed Make A Difference ministry, golfing, cutting wood, hunting, ice fishing, skiing, whitewater rafting, traveling and driving as long as Karen told him where to go. His favorite trips were next door to see Francis and he also looked forward to visits with clients and friends. He will be remembered as a hard worker and a collector of everything. He was a great dad and provider and loved his kids and grandsons and most of all lived for Karen.
His favorite saying was Live each day as if it is your last.
Also surviving are two children, Jeremy Rolston and his wife Becky of Gilbertsville, PA, Nicole Stevens and her husband Matt of Forest City; four grandsons, Aaron, Noah, Cameron, and Jonah; a brother Duane Rolston of Beach Lake; and a sister, Pat Clemo of Hallstead.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Wayne Memorial Hospice, Hematology Oncology of Northeastern Pa, Davita Dialysis, and Jeans Hospital-Fox Chase
A viewing will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024 from 12 Noon-2 PM at the Beach Lake United Methodist Church, 7 Milanville Rd., Beach Lake, Pa. where the funeral service will follow at 2 PM.
