Obituary of Ella Gertrude Burger

Ella Gertrude Berger, 96, of Honesdale, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at her home. Born March 16, 1928 in Johnstown, PA she was a daughter of the late Irving Charles Ribblett and Cozetta Jane Willett. She is survived by a daughter Margie and a son Melvin (Connie) Lindsey; and a sister Sheryl Pollack; grandchildren, Andrew (Amanda) Lindsey of Honesdale; Adrienne (Jim) Lynn of Randolph, NY; Charlyn Huntington of Randolph; Chuck Ribblett of Florida; Eric Ribblett of Randolph, NY; Edward Ribblett of Arizona; great grandchildren: Andrew Rebecca and Gabby; Craig and Kadi; Deva, Deran, Richelle; Jessica and Josh; Terrence, Cienna; Steven and April; great-great grandchildren Dokota, Peyton, Dylan, Haley, Juzalyn, Rileigh, Kennedy, Graeden, Paxton, Easton, Karmyn, Mason, and Julian. She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Burger, and five brothers, Victor, Jim, Harold, Eugene, and William along with a sister Emma and 2 infants at birth; two sons Wayne Ribblett and Eugene Lindsey and two daughters Sheryl and Judy. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Olga and Dorothea Dessin Animal Shelter, 138 Miller Drive, Honesdale, PA 18431. Arrangements are attended by the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, Honesdale, PA.
