Robert Lennings Grover was known to me as Len Grover. We became friends in the 9th grade(1970) while attending Chrisian Home and Bible School in Mt. Dora, Florida. We played baseball, were on the track team, and sang in the high school chorus.
Len was a guy who was comfortable in his own skin. Very unusual for a teenager who's always under peer pressure to conform. Len never did. He was always true to himself. This is why I knew I could always count on his friendship.
It can be very challenging to find a true friend when you're 17 and trying to figure life out. But Len was a true friend and I will always remember him as such.
