Mr. Spoor was a wonderful, caring man. He has had an immense impact on generations of students in our community. I remember him as my first principal in Damascus when I was a little girl.
Also, when he was my daughters' principal at the old Stourbridge and a problem arose, he showed such genuine concern and he took immediate action to solve the issue. All of the little "cherubs" as I fondly recall his endearment for the children were in the best of hands with Mr. Spoor.
