Obituary of Jeffrey Beddoe

Mr. Jeffrey W. Beddoe,72, of Lake Ariel, Pa. died peacefully Wednesday July 5,2023 at Allied Hospice in Scranton, Pa. Born in Scranton, Pa. to the late William and Margaret Beddoe, he was a graduate of Honesdale High School, class of 1968. He graduated from Penn State University with a B.A. in Liberal Arts, class of 1972 and was a member and past president of Sigma Chi fraternity. He loved playing tennis and golf as well as attending live music events. He was an avid reader especially the Sunday N.Y. Times and anything by the author Noam Chomsky. Surviving are his brother, John Beddoe and several cousins. He was cremated as per his request. A memorial service and celebration of Jeff's life will be held Saturday September 16, 2023 at the Lake Waynewood Community Centre at 3:00 p.m. with a reception following the service.
