Obituary of Lisa D. Jones

Lisa Kretschmer Jones,51, passed away on April 9, 2023 at the Delaware Valley Skilled Nursing Facility, Matamoras following an illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jones in 2021. Born in Honesdale, daughter of Richard Kretschmer, White Mills and Cheryl Leonard, Honesdale, she graduated from Honesdale High School in 1989 and received and Associates Degree from Lackawanna College. Lisa was a member of St. John's R. C. Parish, Honesdale . In addition to her parents she is survived by her step-mother Dawn Kretschmer, White Mills; two brothers; James Kretschmer and his wife Christina, Hankins NY, and Jason Kretschmer and his wife Tami, Bloomingburg,NY; 2 step-sisters: Tracy Simon and her husband Keith, White MIlls and Christine Tomazic, Carbondale;several nieces and nephews and some dear friends. A Christian Prayer Service will be held at the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, Honesdale on Thursday April 13, 2023 at 11:00 AM with Deacon Paul Cooper officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00. Interment will follow in the Uniondale Cemetery, Uniondale. Memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society.
