Alice C Yeich, 100 passed away Sunday, January 29 at Bethany Village, Bethany, Pa. where she resided for the past
7 years.
Born August 17, 1922 in Wayne Township, Schuylkill County, Pa.. she was the daughter of late Harry Ketner and Annie
Kramer Ketner. Alice was married to Earl W. Yeich who passed away November 27, 1984.
She graduated from Cressona High School, Cressona, Pa. and lived in Wayne Township in the valley where she was born until 1991 when she moved to Palmyra ,Pa. In 2008 she moved to Kindred Place in Annville, Pa.and then moved to Bethany Village an assisted living home near Honesdale, Pa. in 2015.
Alice was a mother and homemaker who was a devoted caregiver to her daughter Jean until Jean's death in 2004.
She was a talented seamstress and also enjoyed doing a variety of crafts. She planted and cared for many flowers at her home and was a 4-H Club leader and a Sunday School teacher. She had been an active member of two churches,St John's United Church of Christ, Friedensburg, Pa. and Salem United Church of Christ Campbelltown, Pa.
Alice also enjoyed camping with her family and extended family especially as her family grew and included grandchildren and
great grandchildren.
Surviving are a daughter Faye (Warner) Stark, Waymart, Pa.; daughter-in-law Marjorie Yeich,
Mount Joy, Pa.; grandchildren Brian (Krystal) Yeich, Pamela (John) Watts, Jennifer (Daniel), Summers, Amy
(Edward) Grossman, Warner R. (Helen) Stark; great grandchildren, Patrick Yeich, Lydia Grossman, Miranda
Grossman and Rebecca Summers; and step great grandchildren Regan Grossman, Cameron Grossman and Ashleigh
Sledge; also cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Lee Yeich and a brother Wesley Ketner.
The family would like to thank and extend the deepest gratitude to the staff of Bethany Village, and hospice of the
Sacred Heart, Wilkes Barre, PA for their compassion and wonderful care of Alice.

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, Honesdale.
