Obituary of William Juice

William (Bill) Juice, a long-time resident of Honesdale, PA, passed away on August 8, 2022 at Geisinger/CMC in Scranton, PA. William is survived by his wife of 58 years, Yvonne Juice (née Mills); his sisters Ann Kulick and Rose Reed; his children Donna Juice, Linda Arnold (Dave Arnold), Billie Jo Juice-Stepto (John Stepto), and Thomas Juice (Sandra Juice). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Linda Williams, Christopher Bishop, Sara Patten, Tracy Williams, Lisa Juice, Emily Stepto, and William J. Juice. Bill is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, John and Helen Juice; his siblings John Juice Jr., Marie Juice, Steven Juice and Paul Juice. Bill was an avid fan of sports, dogs, fishing, bowling and enjoyed video games. Bill had a celebrated 50-year career as a respiratory therapist, many of those years served at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale, PA and Community Medical Center in Scranton, PA. During his career, Bill coordinated outreach events for local youth to include activities such as Super Saturday for asthmatic children. Bill conducted CPR courses at our local ambulance corps. He is beloved and well-remembered by the people he served throughout his career. Bill also loved entertaining and was notorious for his cooking. His love of sports led him to umpire little league and missy league games throughout the community. Bill enjoyed trips to the casino with his children and pinochle with his siblings. Bill danced to the beat of his own drum and would encourage those who remember him fondly to do the same. Friends and family are invited to attend the memorial service which will be held on Friday, August,12, 2022 at 10:30 a.m at Arthur Bryant Funeral Home in Honesdale, PA. Bill had a deep love for animals and as such the family is requesting donations be made to Dessin Animal Shelter located in Honesdale, PA in lieu of flowers.
