Reverend Harold L. Bedford Sr. , 80 of Damascus, Pa., died peacefully on Wednesday July 27, 2022 at Rosewood Nursing Home, Schuylkill Haven, Pa.
Harold was born in DuPont, Pa. on March 16, 1942 to the late Ernest and Viola Powell Bedford.
He is survived by his wife Linda Nagel - Bedford, his daughter Christina Slocum, Gouldsboro, Pa. (Roy)
and three sons, Harold Bedford Jr., Zephyrhills, Fla., Russell Bedford , Dunmore, Pa. (Carey), and Robert (Eddie) D'Gator Bedford, Zephyrhills, Fla. (Candi). Four Step-children, Valerie, Christopher C., Theresa, and Tami and two Step- grandchildren, Alyssa and Christopher A.
Reverend Harold is also survived by his dear sister, Thelma Tryger from Cortez, Pa. (Richard) and many beloved family members.
Surviving Grandchildren are John, MaryLynn, Jeff, Rachel, Joshua, Brady, Dylan, Ayla, Brittany, Russell Jr., Matt, Cody and Mallory and two Step-grandchildren Alyssa and Christopher A. Surviving Great-grandchildren are Jaden, Ryan, Cameron, Carter, Eli, Wesley, Sabrina, and Levi.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard Bedford and Eddie Bedford, Sister Noretta Bedford, Son
Doney Bedford, Grandson David Haring and his loving Wife Eunice Lynn Bedford.
He worked many years as a Security Guard at The Hideout gated community, Lake Ariel, Pa. He was a long-time member of the Hamlin Assembly of God Church before moving on to graduate from Valley Forge Christian College, Valley Forge, Pa.
Fondest memories of Reverend Harold during his years with the church are when he came to the Lord as a young man to accept Jesus as his Savior and the wonderful change Salvation brought to his life and future.
Reverend Harold had a burden for the lost that was inspiring. He knew what Jesus had done for him and he wanted that for everyone!!!

Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, August 6, 2022, 11:00 AM at the Hamlin Assembly of God Church, 613 Easton Turnpike, Lake Ariel, Pa 18436.
