Obituary of Harold Biddlecombe

Harold Biddlecombe, 74 of Honesdale, PA, died Saturday, April 7, 2012 in the Scranton Regional Hospital after an illness. He is survived by his wife, the former Patricia Keill. They were married on January 3, 1970.
Born on June 1, 1937 in Atco, Pa, he was one of ten children of the late Russell and Helen (Butler) Biddlecombe. Earlier in life, Harold drove tractor trailers and also worked on the pipeline. He was a welder by trade, and enjoyed hobbies including tractors and blacksmithing. Harold was a hard worker who was very dedicated to his family. He led a simple life and would help anyone in need. Harold was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Harold's grandchildren were his pride and joy. He will be greatly missed.
He is also survived by a daughter, Tracy Davis and her husband Adam of Honesdale; two grandchildren, Jacob Kuhn and Amanda Davis; two sisters: Susan Borowski of Waymart and Nancy Roberts and her husband William of Honesdale; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by six brothers: William, Leigh, Ronald, John, Robert, Russell Jr., and a sister, Judy Bagdonas.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home 1228 North Main Street, Honesdale, PA 18431 with Rev. Dan Baker officiating.
Friends may visit on Wednesday, April 11 from 7-9 P.M. at the funeral home, and also on Thursday morning from 10:00 until the time of service.
Interment will be Thursday in Indian Orchard Cemetery, Indian Orchard.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Harold's memory to the Lackawanna Branch Pennsylvania Association for the Blind 228 Adams Avenue, Scranton, Pennsylvania 18503.
