Mr. Crum was the best science teacher I have ever known. I took his Astronomy, Geology, and Plant Bio courses in the 1970s. I still use and think about the concepts he taught me even thought it has been over 45 years since I was in a classroom with him. I remember the trip to the Smithsonian he organized.
