Obituary of Barbara Diviesti

On September 20, 2021 Barbara DiViesti passed away at the age of 61. Barbara was born on May 8, 1960 in Newburgh, NY to William and Lois Hawks. She was the mother of three sons and the wife and soulmate of Michael DiViesti. Barbara had a passion for the outdoors. She enjoyed camping and picnicking at Promisedland as well as spending time watching and taking pictures of all the wildlife she found in nature. Barbara's greatest love was spending time with family and friends. She was always there for anyone who needed help and would do anything she could to put a smile on someone's face. Barbara was preceded in death by her father, William, her mother, Lois and her sister Sharon. Her loving husband of 20 years Michael sadly also passed away on September 23, 2021. She is survived by her sons; Kyle, Michael, Thomas, daughter in law Kimberly, five grandchildren- Rudy, Destiny, Alexys, Mason and Jaxon; her sister Joyce and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a date to be announced at Arthur Bryant Funeral Home located at 1228 Main Street, Honesdale, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ASPCA A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 10, 2021 from 1:00-3:00 PM at the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home 1228 Main St Honesdale, Pa 18431 Cremation has taken place, and a graveside service is pending.
