Born in Olyphant, PA to Bessie (Perry) and George White Sr. On February 13,1932. Moved to Lake Ariel to a farm and graduated high school. He met and married Janet Romaine Hathaway on April 4, 1953. They bought a small farm in Pine Mill and made it a home for 68 years.
Preceded In death by wife (Janet) Jan. 7,2020, both Parents, Brother George Jr. And brother-n-law Lee Hathaway and wife Elsie.
Raised 3 children - Janet Sutliff, Hancock N.Y. - Charles White Jr., Lake Ariel, PA.- John White and wife Kelly, Milanville, PA. 6 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.
Charles worked as a laborer and small farmer in his lifetime. Funeral services will be held at the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home 1228 Main Street Honesdale, Pa on Saturday, July 17,2021 with a viewing at 4pm-6pm,and the funeral service at 6pm.
Burial will be later date at Pine Mill Cemetery. In leau of flowers please donate to Damascus Ambulance and Equinunk Fire Dept.
