Obituary of Malcolm Burcher Sheard

Malcolm B. Sheard, 86 Milanvile, died Saturday, April 24, 2021 at home after an illness. He is survived by his wife the former Joyce Leidenfrost. Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Burcher and Harriet Barnes Sheard. He attended the Narrowsburg High School with the Class of 1952. Malcolm drove tractor trailer for 44 years. He was a member of the Calkins Baptist Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and sportsman who especially enjoyed watching his sons play football. Mac also enjoyed their home in Florida during winters where many dear friends were made and where he enjoyed playing tennis with his men friends. In addition to his wife he is survived by three sons: Malcolm Earl Sheard (Teri) Port Jervis, NY; David K. Sheard, Matamoras, PA and Brian K. Sheard, Cornelius, NY; a grandson, Gabriel Pieros and a step great granddaughter, Sawyer Buto. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at the Calkins Baptist Church with Rev. Lane Jones officiating. Friends may visit at the church from 11:00 am to Noon.
