Obituary of Mary D. Morsch

Mary Morsch, a resident at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center, passed away November 16, 2020. She was married to the late Robert Morsch. Mary was born in Hempstead, NY the daughter of the late John and Florence Ryder. She attended Hempstead High School and later married and moved to Honesdale. Mary was a member of St. John's the Evangelist Catholic Church in Honesdale. Mary loved driving in Northern Wayne County for eagle spotting and camping. She also loved firework displays. Mary is survived by two children, Michael Morsch and his wife Diane of Bayshore, NY and Daniel Morsch of San Diego, CA; three grandchildren,Michael Morsch, Jr,. Christopher Morsch, and Matthew Morsch; two sisters, Joan Ladke of Kentuky and Myra Koenig of Lindenhurst, NY; several nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by three brothers, Jack Ryder, Eddie Ryder, and Robert Ryder; a sister Florence Edwards. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
