My Dear sister Susan. My life is forever changed, my heart is broken, you took a large piece of me with you. I will no longer hear your beautiful voice..or share our birthdays, holidays, our kids birthdays, especially our grandchildrens birthdays. I will miss our saturday phone calls and daily texts. No longer will we laugh and share our secrets, Model for each other the clothes we bought shopping. You were my rock. I keep thinking of all our future plans we spoke of no matter how silly they were. There is no relationship stronger or as close than sisters. We laughed, cried, and complained. Damn how I admired you. We made each other a promise, I will watch over our kids, Mommy, and keep the family together. I love you, and miss you terribly. Your with the love of your life, George. Till me meet again Sissy...Love you to the moon and back, Carolyn

I am very saddened to hear of Susan's passing. She was our Continuing Ed Coordinator at Lackawanna College. She was a lovely, beautiful human being. My interactions with her were always pleasant. She had an easy going, approachable, and steadying presence. Always had a smile and willingness to assist you. I recall her stopping by the computer room to see how I was coming along with a struggle I was having. Never flustered, her soothing speech was eloquent and her voice was enchanting. I think she just exuded peace and love and acceptance of all the students she encountered. She had photos of her family on her desk and was proud and smiling as she told me about them. No doubt, they are forever the loves of her life. You will be missed Susan. Thanks for letting your heart shine through in all you did. You inspire me. I believe God takes the best. Enjoy paradise. You will live on in all our hearts with your legacy of love. Until we meet again, may you rest in the Lord's arms in beauty unimaginable.

Right now, when your loss is so fresh, it may be difficult for you to imagine that this pain will ever go away. But in time the blessing of God's unfailing love will soften the hurt you're feeling and bring your heart the peace, comfort and hope that it needs to heal. How? Revelation 21:4 tells us that soon everything that causes us pain, including death, will be gone forever. We also have the hope of our loved ones being resurrected here on a paradise earth, as Acts 24:15 tells us. I do hope you find comfort in this.
Though I did not know Susan, she sound like a beautiful person. I am touched by your loss. Please accept my sincere condolences. (JW.org).

My heart is broken. Dawn, Dennis, Carolyn, and family, please know that I am with you in spirit...as I am out of state and just learned of Susie's passing tonight as you are having the services (Sunday May 5).
Susie and I were best friends for so many years at Lackawanna and we continued to get together several times a year since I moved away in 2012.
We co-taught classes and entire Continuing Ed programs together, shared lunch daily, and socialized outside of work including a MOST memorable trip to see the American Idol winners tour in 2011(I posted a photo of us on facebook: nina mac)!
In the years since I moved away, we met for breakfast, lunch or dinner several times a year and spent a few hours catching up on each other's lives and families.
May you take comfort in knowing she has been reunited with her beloved George.
Love, Nina
