Rest in peace Roger. I can vividly recall the first time I met you. I was 16 and had been involved in a minor car accident I was stopped in a line of traffic and a car decided to turn into a gas station but in the process of turning hit the front driver side of my car, police called accident report made. Told my mother since it was her insurance and forgot about it few months later insurance policy renewal showed huge increase when my mom called to check it was because I had an at fault accident. Went got copy of police report and went to see Roger. He handled everything including calling my mother and getting me out of hot water with her! Roger when you get to heaven check in with my mom and dad as well as Uncle Dewight and Aunt Joan.

Evelyn and Family,
We are deeply saddened by the news of Roger's passing. I, Frank, first met Roger when he was living with Bob Peters in Shippensburg. In college Roger always wrote things down, and could be counted on for clarification on assignments when my faulty memory failed me. He had a permanent smile on his face, and I sometimes wondered, with no small amount of envy, how he maintained that positive attitude. In later years, we looked forward to seeing Roger and Evelyn at various Shippensburg activities. Our sincere thoughts and prayers go out to Evelyn and the family.
