Obituary of Rebecca DeReamer

Rebecca E. DeReamer, 68, of Otto, North Carolina formerly of Honesdale died unexpectedly of natural causes on Sunday, November 25, 2018. Born in Carbondale she is the daughter of the late Irwin and Doris Lamberton Bloomgarden. She graduated from Honesdale High School and subsequently graduated from Wayne Commercial School in Honesdale, 1968. For several years she worked as a legal secretary for Honesdale attorneys and the Legal Aid Department. Rebecca moved to Colorado and recently to Otto, North Carolina. She worked as an associate for Walmart. Rebecca was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She is survived by a son, Shawn DeReamer; a daughter, Janette Burkholder of Otto, NC; a brother, Michael Bloomgarden and wife Brenda of Honesdale; two sisters, Sarah Tiel of Honesdale and Ruth Freudenfels and her husband Joram of East Brunswick; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at 615 Court Street Honesdale. Interment will follow in Honesdale. Arrangements are attended by the Arthur A.
