Obituary of Shirley A. Noble

Shirley A. Noble, 82 of Honesdale passed away on May 2, 2018 after a brief illness. She was married to the late Thomas Noble. Shirley was born in Carbondale on January 26, 1936 the daughter of Hazel and Bertram Theis of Tyler Hill. She graduated from Damascus High School Class of 1954. Shirley married Thomas in 1957. Shirley was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She worked at Murray True Value for 17 years until her retirement. Shirley enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren and took special pride in maintaining her home and yard until her passing. Shirley is survived by three children, Martin and his wife Jennifer of Milanville, David and his wife Carol of Beach Lake, Philip and his wife Becky of Marinette, WISC; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a sister, Peggy Oneill of Pleasant Mount. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Noble; brother Gideon Theis; sisters, Betty Bunnell and Thelma Spry. As per her request private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
