Obituary of William N. Schroeder

William N. Schroeder, III, 72,of Beech Gove, PA died Friday, September 22, 2017 at Wayne Memorial Hospital , Honesdale. Born in Honesdale, son of the late William and June Gumble Schroeder, he attended the J.J. Koehler School for the Handicapped in Honesdale and graduated from Honesdale Catholic HIgh School. He was an avid ham radio operator and was known as "the Improviser" with the ability to repair anything from clocks, to lawn mowers to small appliances. He was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran CHurch of Honesdale. He is survived by his sister: Arlene "Lonnie" Forget, at home; two nieces: Kathy Miller, Virginia and Carolee Hollenbach, New York State; several great nephews; 1 great niece; 2 great great nephews, numerous cousins. Funeral services will be on Thursday , September 28, 2017 at Noon in the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, 1228 North Main Street, Honesdale with Rev. Richard A. Mowery, of ST. John's Evangelical Lutheran church officiating. Interment will be private in the Glen Dyberry Cemetery, Honesdale. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 am to 12:00 Noon.
