Obituary of Thomas E. Cummings

After a lengthy illness Thomas Cummings Sr. passed away peacefully at approximately 3:00pm on July 16, 2016 the Gino J Merli Veterans Center in Scranton Pa with his wife Frances Cummings, formerly Frances Castro, by his side. Tom was one of 11 children of Adele Waterman and Frank Cummings. He was born on a farm in upstate NY and grew up and raised his family in Brooklyn NY while he worked as a School Bus Driver. He served proudly in the US Military, Army Division. He and his family moved to Beach Lake in 1986. Tom Cummings, a beloved husband, father, brother and friend, is also survived by his children and their spouses Thomas & Denise Cummings, Dorothy & Paul Miller and Bridget & Stevie Albano, by his grandchildren Sydney, Chase and Max Cummings, Madison, Logan and Bryce Miller and Jackie, Steven, Grace and Matthew Albano, and his brothers Patty and John Cummings. A blessing service will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home 1228 Main Street Honesdale, Pa Friends may visit the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00-2:00 PM. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
