Obituary of Richard I. Conklin

Richard "Ric" Conklin, 65, of Honesdale, passed away unexpectedly on July 6th, 2016. He was the son of Earl Conklin and the late Doris Conklin. He is also survived by his brother Ronald Conklin. Ric was a best friend and loving dad to each of his three children. Daughter Lindsay Conklin and fiancé Patrick Batsford, son Jace Conklin and girlfriend Lindsay Warden, and daughter Kacie Post and her husband Daniel who will miss him so very much. Ric was an avid skier who taught many the art of the sport. He was a coach for the Junior Olympic Team, and a racing team coach at Greek Peak Mountain. Ric loved to spend time at his lake house with his family and friends and his dog, Barkley. You could also find Ric at the diner having coffee every morning with the counter crew. He was the first person to offer a helping hand to anyone that needed one. His generosity will continue through The Gift of Life Donor Program. Ric's outgoing personality and jokes will be greatly missed by many.
