Obituary of Gary L. Williams

Gary L. Williams of Waymart died April 29, 2016 in University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia following an illness. He is survived by his mother Carol Williams also of Waymart. Born in Wilmington, Del the son of the late Reginald Williams, Sr. and Carol Williams of Waymart. Gary grew up in Delaware and later moved with his family to Ohio in 1995. He lived in Ohio until moving to PA in 2005. Gary loved classic cars and classic car shows. In his youth he was an all around athlete, and an outstanding baseball player in the Little League and Babe Ruth Leagues of Delaware. Gary also enjoyed fishing. In addition to his mother he is survived by a brother, Reginald Williams and his wife Barbara of Upper Sandusky, Ohio; a niece, Lindsay Williams of Toledo. He was preceded in death by a nephew, Matthew Williams and two infant brothers, Dennis Michael and Gordon Robert. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, 1228 Main Street, Honesdale with the Rev. Sal Maiorana officiating. Friends may visit the funeral home on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 from 1:00-2:00 PM.
