Dear Linda & family,
Chuck will be greatly missed. He was one of the finest men we knew and dedicated to the Lord in everything he said and did. There is no doubt in our minds that the Lord will have reward waiting for him especially for taking care of his cattle on a thousand hills.
I remember a Sunday morning that Chuck was a little late for church, and he shared that he had a sick cow and was going to stay home to keep checking on it. Then he read that the Lord owned the cattle on a thousand hills. It was then that he decided that he was going to church to worship the Lord, and God could keep checking on His cow since they were his.
Ron remembers one day when Chuck came down to work (John Deere) and asked him if he had time to have lunch with him. Chuck went down to Sunrise and got 2 hoagies and Ron and he went up to one the fields, set on a bench, had lunch together and talked. Ron remembers it well.
We both will remember Chuck with great fondness and will not forget all that he meant to us through the years we knew him personally and through church. He had a sweet spirit and we loved him as a brother. Jesus has said, "Well done my good and faithful servant."
