Obituary of Norma Johnson

Norma Johnson died on February 14, 2016 at the Creekside Nursing Home in Carbondale. She was married to the late Gale "Ben" Johnson.
Norma was born in Prompton on June 8, 1932 the daughter of Floyd and Katherine Counterman Hines. She graduated from Honesdale High School and continued her education to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. Norma loved her grandchildren and her two cats and her dog.
She is survived by her son, John Johnson and his wife Cathy of Honesdale; a daughter Ruth Nancy Maierle of Jacksonville, Florida; grandchildren, John, Jerry, Trevor, and Erin.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Charles Hines, Louis Hines, and Gerald Hines.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, 1228 Main Street, Honesdale, Pa. Friends may visit the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00-1:00 PM
