Obituary of Mary S. Skinner

Mary S. Skinner, 80, Honesdale died at home on Friday, May 22, 2015 after an illness. She is survived by her husband Stuart G. Skinner. On July 9 th they would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Born in Preston Township, Wayne County , daughter of the late John and Josephine Adams Strzalka, she had worked for many years in Honesdale as a bookkeeper. Mary was a member of Grace Church, Indian Orchard, and she loved to travel and to play cards. Over the years, she and her husband had visited 48 states and most of Canada. She is also survived by a son and daughter-in-law Steven and Kitty Skinner, Langhorne, Pa; two sisters: Betty Blaine, Honesdale and Ruth Hansen, Mesquite, Nevada, one grandson, Kevin Skinner of Langhorne, and a surrogate granddaughter, Nora Megan Cliff, Honesdale. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Betsy Jo. A private graveside service will be held at the family's convenience. Arrangements are attended by the Arthur A.
