Obituary of Virginia S. Haun

Virginia H. Haun, age 97, died Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center of Honesdale, PA. She was married to the late Myron" Mickey" Haun who died in 1991. Virginia was born October 14, 1917 in Horton, NY. She is the daughter of the late George and Nora Sisson Horton. She worked for many years at Dale Sportswear and Katz Underwear. Virginia was a member of First Baptist Church of Honesdale. She loved caring for her children and grandchildren and teaching them. She is survived by her children, Marge Henneforth and her husband Gene , Bill Haun and his wife Gloria, Betty Borsdam and her husband Dave; ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Helen, Mary, Mildred, and Margarette; three brothers, Leonard, Howard, and Melvin; two grandchildren Joseph and Amanda Borsdam. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, 1228 Main Street, Honesdale, Pa with Pastor Jones officiating. Friends may visit the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00-2:00 PM. Interment will be in the spring at East Dyberry Cemetery. .
