Obituary of Frances Skinner

Frances Skinner, age 89, of Honesdale died Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at home in Honesdale. She was married to the late Ralph Skinner who died in 2012. Frances is the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (McGivern) Day. She and her husband ran a furniture and antique business on Fair Avenue, Honesdale.. Frances also enjoyed embroidery and jig saw puzzles. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Parish, Honesale. Frances is survived by a son, Robert Skinner and his wife Marge of Beach Lake; three daughters, Carolyn Enslin of Oley, Pa, Muriel Temple and her husband Donald of Archbald, Pa, and Judy Gibbons of Lakeville; a daughter in law, Dawn Skinner, Honesdale; twenty grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. Frances was preceded in death by a son, Lyle Skinner, a grandson, and several brothers and sisters. A Christian prayer service will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, 1228 Main Street Honesdale, Pa. Friends may visit the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00-2:00 PM. Spring burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Honesdale, Pa. . .
