Obituary of Grace E. Young

Born July 3, 1930 in Equinunk, she was the daughter of the late Leon & Gertrude Swendsen Eldred. Grace was a member of the Pine Mill United Methodist Church, the Ladies Aid, and the Henrietta-Rebekah's Lodge of Lookout. For many years, Grace worked at Katz Underwear factory. She is survived by four sons: Wally Young and his wife Lois of Pine Mill, Gary Young and his wife Leanna, of Honesdale, Jesse Young Jr. and his wife Sue of Pine Mill, and Randy Young and his wife Donna of Lookout; seven daughters: Rita Wink and her husband Walter of Pine Mill, Connie Lindsey and her husband Melvin of Equinunk, Betty Warfield and her husband Richard of Equinunk, Jean Kenyon of Pine Mill, Cindy Baldwin and her husband Everett of Honesdale, Roxanne Reynolds of Honesdale, and Laurie Young of Pleasant Mount; fifty grandchildren and fifty six great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild, brothers and sisters: Hazel Terrell & her husband Ed of Galilee, Harold Eldred of Galilee, Carrie VanOrden of Beach Lake, Leon Eldred and his wife Pat of Equinunk, Harry Eldred and his wife Becky of Equinunk, Leonard Eldred and his wife LuAnn of Trout Creek, New York, and Esther Fuller and her husband John of Equinunk and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Stella Jennings. Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 8, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. in the Pine Mill Cemetery, Hathaway Road, Equinunk, PA 18417 with Rev. Darlene Miller officiating. An enclosed tent with heat will be provided at the cemetery. Friends may visit at the cemetery on Monday from 12:00 Noon until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to the Pine Mill United Methodist Church, c/o Ed Wood, Hathaway Road, Equinunk, PA 18417. Arrangements are attended by the Arthur A.
