Obituary of Virginia Peil Jules

Virginia Peil Jules, 68 of Honesdale, PA, died July 26, 2014 at Wayne Memorial Hospital after a short battle with cancer.
Born March 29, 1946 in Honesdale she was the daughter of the late G. William and Alvena Tyce Peil.
Virginia was a graduate of Honesdale High School, class of 1964. She earned a Bachelor's degree from Albright College in 1968 and later she earned a Masters degree from the University of the Virgin Islands. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Honesdale.
Virginia worked as a teacher in the Little Schoolhouse in St. Thomas , USVI before returning to Pa. She worked at Serendipity Daycare, later the Treasure House, for many years as a teacher and center director at the Hawley and Waymart locations. Virginia also worked at Wayne Memorial Hospital as a technician in the pharmacy department for fifteen years.
Virginia "Ginni "was a wonderful, proud and loving mother. She was caring, dependable, hard working and loved spending time with friends. She was an avid reader and volunteered at the Wayne County Library. Virginia participated in book clubs, library programs, and liked to stay active taking exercise classes at the YMCA. Virginia especially enjoyed drinking tea and often had friends over to sit on her porch for a cup (or more) of tea and good conversation. She enjoyed movies, music, shows, and traveling.
Virginia is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Jules of Durham, NC.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Honesdale with the Rev.Kenneth Buckwalter officiating.
Friends may visit Tuesday, July 29, 2014 from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, 1228 Main Street Honesdale, Pa.
Interment will be Wednesday in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Honesdale.
